This historic pact laid the foundation for the Mekong River Commission (MRC)\, fostering regional cooperation in the sustainable management\, development\, and conservation of the Mekong’s precious water and resources. \nTo mark this 30-year milestone\, the MRC will host Mekong Day on 24 April 2025—a special gathering that celebrates regional unity and sustainable progress in the Mekong Basin. This half-day event will bring together government leaders\, development partners\, civil society organizations\, and the public to reflect on past achievements and chart a collaborative path forward. \nJoin us in honoring three decades of cooperation and shaping the future of the Mekong!
