International/Regional consultant to produce PNPCA introduction Film/Video

Duration/Contract Type: Maximum of 15 working days / Special Service Agreement

Key Responsibilities / Tasks: 

The objective of the consultancy is to produce a short film/video of approximately 2-3 minutes explaining the Procedures for Notification and Prior Consultation Agreement (PNPCA) process in an eye-catching and informative way.

Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in film/video production meeting international standards, with at least 5 years of solid experience;
  • Proven experience in creating films, using infographic and animation;
  • Experience working with intergovernmental and/or development organizations in the region;
  • Good understanding of the Mekong River basin’s socio-economic, environmental contexts;
  • Previous examples of producing instructional, ‘explainer’ film/videos will be a distinct advantage;
  • English language is a requirement; working knowledge of riparian languages is an asset but not a requirement;
  • Willingness to work closely with and in consultation with the MRC.
