Multi-Media (Water, Sediment, Biota) Monitoring and Assessment Report

MRC Technical Paper No.41

This paper provides the results of a study commissioned by the Mekong River Commission Secretariat to monitor and assess the status of a wide range of environmental conditions in the Mekong riverine environment. For this purpose, pollutants and other environmental parameters in different media were measured during one survey, including water, sediment and biota.

Results and Lessons Learnt from the First Batch of Local Demonstration Projects 2010-2013

Demonstration Project Series No. 1

This paper reports on the findings from the evaluation of the CCAI’s first batch local demonstration projects in the four MRC Member Countries. The evaluation involves an assessment of project performance and results according to five evaluation criteria. It was found that the projects provided important capacity building and experience in subnational adaptation planning that serve as an initial basis for ongoing development of provincial and local adaptation activities.
