Do you have photos that tell stories about the diversity of the Mekong River?
The Mekong River Commission (MRC) is holding a photography contest, encouraging amateur photographers to share their images that capture the diversity of the Mekong, from its beautiful nature to various use of water to pressing challenges, to showcase the need for cross-border cooperation for sustainable development of the basin.
The contest is organised in collaboration with the National Mekong Committees of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand and Viet Nam, as part of the MRC’s Mekong Integrated Water Resources Management Project (M-IWRMP). The Project facilitates transboundary cooperation among the lower Mekong countries at both national and basin levels, with the application of the MRC’s procedural rules and tools on water use negotiation, data sharing and river flow monitoring.
