From 12 to 19 November 2018, water levels along the Lower Mekong River from Thailand’s Chiang Sean was dropped below its long-term averages (LTAs). However, from Laos’s Luang Prabang to Thailand’s Mukdahan, water levels were fluctuating above their long-term averages (LTAs). But in the lower reaches from Laos’s Pakse to Viet Nam’s Tan Chau on the Mekong River and Chau Doc on the Bassac River, the water levels were fluctuating below their LTAs.
